Samsung has launched a litany of Android smartphones and tablets under the brand Galaxy since it was introduced last year, but had never thrown a solid model which has become their mobile Xcover Galaxy turbulent legacy smartphone. This seems to have changed with the announcement of the Galaxy Xcover aptly named for the German market.

The new Galaxy Xcover meets IP67 certification for an immersion in one meter of water for 30 minutes. It also has a touch screen scratch resistant and can handle their participation in the dirt and dust exposure.

As smartphones go acclamation Xcover Galaxy runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread Samsung TouchWiz interface.That personalized scratch resistant 3.6-inch touch through measures Xcover and sports a 3.2 megapixel camera with LED flash on the back. It also supports HSPA 7.2 Mbps wireless data connectivity as fast.

Samsung has not revealed precise details of prices and availability Xcover Galaxy, and so far has just published the German market. Hopefully, Samsung feels the need to release it elsewhere, because the Germans certainly not the only ones who want a phone to get rough, but it does provide power to smartphones.
